RIU Partner Club Launches A Mobile App For Travel Advisors | JLT Daily Dispatch

A professional lifestyle image of a businessman in a suit and tie standing outdoors in a modern city environment, holding and viewing a smartphone with a slight smile, captured from a low angle with blurred office buildings in the background, representing business communication, mobile productivity, or on-the-go digital engagement for professionals using technology in an urban setting.

A little update that might come in handy if you book RIU often. RIU Hotels & Resorts has launched a redesigned mobile app for its Partner Club loyalty programme, built with travel advisors in mind. It’s available now on iOS and Android, free to download, and brings booking management, points tracking, and benefit redemption into one mobile space.

TL;DR

  • New RIU Partner Club app now available free on iOS and Android
  • Over 100,000 active members across 139 countries in the programme
  • Three core features: booking registration, real-time points tracking, and benefit management
  • Points do not expire as long as the account stays active with periodic sales
  • Download after registering at the RIU Partner Club portal

What’s Inside The App

The app is built around three functions RIU has flagged as priorities for travel professionals. First, booking agility: register sales and book client stays directly from your phone through what RIU describes as a friction-free process. Second, real-time control, so you can manage your profile, check booking history, and see your points status without firing up the laptop. Third, benefit management, which lets you accumulate points on every booking and redeem them against free stays at RIU properties.

It’s a straightforward setup, designed to keep things moving when you’re not at your desk.

The Points Policy Worth A Second Look

A studio-style horizontal shot of a bearded man wearing glasses and a beanie, holding a smartphone in one hand and a credit card in the other while reacting with visible excitement, set against a plain neutral background, emphasising online purchasing or successful payment, commonly used to illustrate e-commerce transactions, digital payments, or promotional offers for online shoppers.

One detail stands out: the points expiry policy. As long as your account is active and you register sales periodically, your points do not expire. That’s a different approach from some hotel loyalty schemes, where points can disappear after a set window of inactivity.

With over 100,000 active members across 139 countries, Partner Club has grown into a sizeable global community. The mobile app sits alongside the existing desktop portal as part of RIU’s wider work on the Partner Club programme.

Getting Started

Already registered with RIU Partner Club? Download the app from the App Store or Google Play and log in with your usual details. Your account will work straight away, and you can start tracking bookings and points from the off.

Not yet a member? You’ll need to register first through the RIU Partner Club portal at riu.com. Once that’s done, you can download the app and begin accumulating points on every booking you make.

RIU describes the app as enabling professionals to manage their activity comfortably, quickly, and securely from any mobile device.

The Practical Bit

If you book RIU properties often, this takes one small task off the desk pile. You can log sales as you go, watch your points tick up between appointments, and pull client booking details when you need them. Useful for those in-between moments between calls, on the train, or catching five minutes with a coffee.

If you’re already booking RIU, download the app and log a few recent bookings this week. You’ll start the points clock running and get a feel for the workflow before your next client enquiry lands.
