What’s in the JLT Business and First Class Packages?

An open notebook and a warm coffee mug on a home desk with soft morning light through a nearby window.

Most agents comparing the JLT memberships hit the same moment at their desk … two browser tabs open, a long features list, no clear steer either way. Here’s the walk-through: what’s in each, what First Class adds, and how to choose.

Quick Context

Both memberships sit inside the same JLT infrastructure. The ATOL licence (12564), the PTS Trust Account for client funds (PTS6090), the professional indemnity cover, the 200+ suppliers, our booking platform, and the daily Q&A clinics are all part of the shared foundation.

The choice is about how much additional coaching and training an agent wants layered on top.

What the Business Membership Covers

The Business tier is the full working setup for a new travel business. It includes:

  • Comprehensive academy training
  • ATOL-protected booking access under licence 12564
  • 200+ suppliers, from TUI and Jet2 to Kuoni, Sandals, P&O Cruises, Virgin Voyages, and Expedia TAAP
  • Our booking platform, with unified supplier search, branded quotes, and one-click booking
  • A back-office CRM for managing enquiries, bookings, and payments
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • A @thejltgroup.co.uk business email
  • The social media and business development academy
  • An active WhatsApp community
  • Daily Q&A clinics for live support
  • A generous commission split weighted in the agent’s favour, paid early once the client has paid in full, suppliers have settled, and travel is within 12 weeks
  • Access to agent rates for personal travel

Everything an agent needs to open the first booking is included here.

What First Class Adds

First Class carries everything in the Business tier, then layers on the tools that speed up growth once the fundamentals are in place. That adds:

  • Weekly private group coaching calls
  • A private WhatsApp support group
  • Additional training modules covering niche development, branding, sales funnels, business automation, Instagram, Facebook for Business, TikTok, Pinterest, blogging, email marketing funnels, Canva, customer service, and mindset

The additional training is where First Class earns its name. It’s designed for the second and third year of a business, when questions move from getting booked to attracting the right clients.

How to Decide

For an agent who is new, testing the water, or building slowly alongside other commitments, Business is the natural start. It covers the full booking function, the supplier access, the compliance, and the daily clinics, and moving up to First Class later is straightforward.

For an agent who already has some marketing ambition mapped out, First Class shortens the curve on the work of attracting the right clients. It also fits an agent who reaches a growth point where the coaching and marketing modules become the missing piece.

Anyone weighing up the two is welcome to speak to the JLT team directly. A short conversation usually makes it clear which package fits where an agent is now. It also covers how the move to First Class works later on.
